My husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer five months ago. it’s was a shock to me because my husband never had any medical problems and he never felt any pain, until one day he felt real bad and went to the emergency room.
He was admitted to the hospital and given a lot of test and they finally found what the problem was. Then the doctor decided to remove his right kidney because there was a large cancer on the kidney. Thinking about it really scares me. I am glad that it is now finally over and he is recovering from it.
Today I learned that mesothelioma is also a form of cancer, which is caused by exposure to asbestos and the bad thing about it is you can get it through secondary exposure. So if you have work in the ship building or construction trade then you stand a higher risk of having this type of disease.
